Simon Collins –Podiatrist / Associate BSc (Hons) MChS
Simon Graduated in 2000 from Southampton University but has been in health care since 1992. He gained student the of the year prize in his final year of study.
Following a 18 month rotational graduate post Simon was successful in obtaining a post with the podiatric biomechanics team at Portsmouth Healthcare NHS Trust and continued his training with specialist Podiatrists and Physiotherapists. He later became an Extended Scope Podiatrist working in specialist orthopaedic Foot and Ankle clinics and also knee Clinics. This post had a key training and lecturing role and Simon teaches regularly to local podiatry and physiotherapy groups. His work has lead to close ties with specialist knee physiotherapists and back physiotherapists
Simon trains locally in Taekwondo and is married with 3 young children.
